Wednesday night an American Airline passenger plane collided with a Black Hawk military helicopter in Washington D.C. Wednesday night crashing into the Potomac River near Reagan National Airport. American Airlines flight manifest says, there were 60 passengers and four crew members were onboard during the time of the crash. The White House and Donald Trump had briefly responded to the tragedy not long after.
However, now, President Donald Trump has responded to the deadly plane crash in a press conference, seeming to blame DEI as well as the Biden and Obama Administration for the deadly crash.
Donald Trump discussed hiring initiatives and diversity, equity, and inclusion, referencing the Biden and Obama administrations. When a reporter questioned him about how diversity could have contributed to the tragic crash, Trump responded that it was because he had “common sense.” However, he did not provide any evidence linking Biden’s efforts to the incident.
Upon taking office President Donald Trump dismissed the heads of the TSA and Coast Guard, along with several members of a key aviation safety advisory committee.
