LYNDHURST, OH (WOIO) - A massive fire in a Lyndhurst apartment complex Thursday afternoon. The blaze started around 1pm at the Acacia Park Apartment complex located off Cedar Road and I-271, just east of Beachwood Mall. Dominion Officials tell 19 Action News, a water-proofing contractor was working at the complex and struck a gas line. That then sparked the blaze.

NORTH ROYALTON, OHIO (WOIO) - North Royalton High School was under lockdown for about 30 minutes Wednesday morning after a student reported a classmate threatened her and made reference to guns. The student went to her counselor with what the 9th grade boy had threatened. The counselor alerted the school resource officer, who contacted police. Officers then searched the area and found no weapon.
Two Cleveland high schools, Glenville and Central Catholic, went through various scares earlier in the day in the wake of the Chardon High School shootings. Glenville went through a lock down, while Central Catholic had a bomb scare.
CHARDON, Ohio - The FBI has said four students are injured and one gunman is in custody after a shooting at Chardon High School Monday morning. Two students have been taken by helicopter to Hillcrest Hospital and two have been taken to MetroHealth Hospital.
CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Cleveland Police held a news conference Tuesday on the deadly weekend in the city. Six people were killed in less than 36 hours, including a mother and her baby daughter after they were kidnapped at gunpoint. Police said they responded in timely manner in all cases, and also addressed delays in the Amber Alert issued for 19-year-old Latasha R. Jackson and her 1-year-old daughter, Chaniya Wynn, after they were kidnapped at gunpoint by Jackson's estranged boyfriend. Jackson and her baby girl were found shot to death inside an east side garage. It appears as though the suspect - 35-year-old Thomas Lorde - shot himself in the head.
