Tone! the multi-talented artist has gone beyond the call of duty to carry on the legacy of great R&B music for the old school as well as the new school. With his critically acclaimed multiple solo projects and musical endeavors now spanning to TV and soon reaching into scoring films, Raphael Saadiq is dead set on making new music on a consistent basis for every occasion.
Remaining true to his mature style and his references to the classics without falling short into musical predictability, Raphael Saadiq is on his way back to us with full force as the world readies itself for the new album “Stone Rollin'” expected to hit stores this May. Today, however, R&B/soul music fans received a taste of some of the new music from the iconic artist during the most recent edition of the “In Studio Jam” live on the Tom Joyner Morning Show.
