CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -
An investigation is underway after a racist hate crime in Cleveland.
Police were called to Lawn Avenue around 7 a.m. Sunday for a vehicle that had been vandalized.
The victim told police that her vehicle, which was parked on the street, had been spray painted. Officers found that the vehicle had been spray painted with orange paint on the hood, windshield, windows, tires and on the driver’s side of the vehicle the letters “KKK” were painted.
The victim said that her vehicle was spray painted with gold paint three weeks ago, but she didn’t report the incident. The victim also stated that she has been having problems with her neighbors.
