On last night’s (July 21) episode of BET’s gospel singing competition Sunday Best, singing-competition-alum Tasia took it back to her gospel roots with a passionate performance of “To The Heavens” from her latest disc Side Effects of You. She then murked the classic gospel favorite “Pass Me Not” in dedication to Whitney Houston, in which both performances had the judges (Cece Winans, Donnie McClurkin, and Yolanda Adams) along with the entire audience enraptured by the spiritual outpouring of emotion Fantasia is known for.
