This week, there’s an understated anticipation floating around in our studios as we await the opportunity to get our hands on brand new music from our beloved Natalie Stewart (aka “The Floacist”), formerly of the famed British neo-soul duo Floetry.
She’s back after a lengthy four-year musical hiatus, a break she says was definitely needed so she could simply spend time living. The Floacist’s new album Floetic Soul is officially in stores and on iTunes on Tuesday, November 9th and we are ecstatic about what we’ve heard so far. Free Download of “Forever” DOWNLOAD IT HERE
Soulful, smooth, sexy and sincere, the new project has quite a few musical guests including Musiq Soulchild who appears on the album’s lead single “Forever,” but we’re going to let The Floacist do the talking. Enjoy this intimate interview with Natalie “The Floacist” Stewart as she discusses details of the new album and where her relationship stands now with her former group mate Marsha Ambrosius plus more.
