According to multiple league sources the Cleveland Cavaliers have traded guard Mo Williams and forward Jamario Moon to the Los Angeles Clippers for guard Baron Davis and a top 10 pick in June’s NBA draft. The trade does add an extra $4 to 5 million to the Cavaliers payroll over the next 2 years but it also now ensures the Cavs will have TWO top 10 picks next year! Lets hope the team’s scouting department does their due diligence because this team desperately needs to hit on both of those picks.
The Cavs also may not be done trading. The NBA trade deadline is at 3pm this afternoon.
