Teenagers Giving Instructions on How to Give Oral Sex Hits Internet

Last week, when the larger than life billboard of then-4-year-old Anissa Fraser was torn down in New York City’s Soho District, many people considered it justice.

Not only because her mother, Tricia Fraser, was not informed that her daughter’s image would become the face of Heroic Media‘s pro-life black-women’s-wombs-are-‘dangerous’ campaign, but because scathing generalizations that push a political agenda is the epitome of race baiting and religious pandering.

This week, though, “dangerous” would be the best word to describe the womb of two young, black women I had the dubious honor of receiving oral sex lessons from.

After viewing the viral video (pictured) infecting African-American media sites, featuring two of the most obnoxious, tasteless, tragic examples of womanhood I’ve ever seen, only one thought crossed my mind:

Please don’t let them get pregnant, because their children won’t stand a chance. Not because they’re going to run to the first abortion clinic they can find, but because they probably won’t.

Sitting in the back seat of a car, with two of their “friends” cackling in the background, these girls face the camera, and in graphic detail, attempt to explain the nuances of fellatio and the proper way to “ride your man.”

More tragic than the obvious lack of self-respect these girls have for themselves is that if their “expertise” comes from practice, they are more likely to die from oral cancer.

Now, that’s sexy.

“Researchers studying the human papillomavirus (HPV) say that in the United States HPV causes 64 percent of oropharynxl cancers,” said a Feb. 22 NPR report by Peggy Girshmann. “And the more oral sex someone has had – and the more partners they’ve had – the greater their risk of getting these cancers, which grow in the middle part of the throat.”

An individual who has six or more lifetime partners – on whom they’ve performed oral sex – has an eightfold increase in risk compared to someone who has never performed oral sex,” Dr. Maura Gillison of Ohio State University told a meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science this past weekend.”

These girls maybe lucky and not die from their promiscuity. If history is any indication, though, they’ll be used, abused, washed up and thrown away – and all they’ll have left is an infamous lesson on oral sex.

I could blame hip-hop, but I won’t. I could blame peer pressure, but not this time.

Where are the Mothers to lead by example? Where are the Fathers to teach them that no man is needed to validate their existence? Our ancestors were Queens, and for some reason, these young girls would rather tell us what they do on their knees.

Who’s going to grab these sisters by the hand and tell them their mouths can be used to build nations?

The tragedy in our neighborhoods isn’t Planned Parenthood, but parents not planning to be parents.

We, as women, have allowed our worth to depreciate from rubies and gold to just “dimes,” and our daughters are not blind. If we don’t step up and raise them to recognize their value to society, and their integral role in the continuation of our culture, then our downfall in to not just economic obscurity, but moral bankruptcy, rests squarely on our shoulders.

Watch the horrible video here.
