Despite Chris Brown’s bad boy image and actions, his appearances on shows equal more ratings. Bottom line.
Tuesday night’s episode of “Dancing with the Stars” earned a whopping 19 millions viewers — the highest premiere ever for the show.
To put it in perspective, until Tuesday, according to the Washington Post, the fall season’s results-show premiere brought in an audience of 18.5 million when word got out that Sarah Palin was going to show up (because daughter Bristol was among the competitors).
Maybe what they say about bad press equaling good press, is true. An added bonus: Brown’s newest album won over audiences, too. “F.A.M.E.” sold over 270,000 copies, earning Brown the top spot on the Billboard charts.
