Whether it’s a high-pressure job, a bad relationship, or trying to remember the words to our national anthem – life can be stressful! And when you feel anxious, it can lead to sleep problems and a constant feeling of fatigue.
We spoke with FFF board advisor and wellness coach Dr. Jay about how to get a more restful sleep and wake up energized every day!
– Go to sleep at the same time each night. A steady routine helps reinforce your body’s sleep-wake cycle.
– Get regular exercise. Studies have shown that consistent physical activity can lead to better sleep. That, and watching James Franco host the Oscars.
– Avoid eating large meals late in the day. Finish dinner two hours before bedtime and try not to snack in between.
