Whether it’s a high-pressure job, a bad relationship, or trying to remember the words to our national anthem – life can be stressful! And when you feel anxious, it can lead to sleep problems and a constant feeling of fatigue.

We spoke with FFF board advisor and wellness coach Dr. Jay about how to get a more restful sleep and wake up energized every day!

Go to sleep at the same time each night. A steady routine helps reinforce your body’s sleep-wake cycle.

Get regular exercise. Studies have shown that consistent physical activity can lead to better sleep. That, and watching James Franco host the Oscars.

Avoid eating large meals late in the day. Finish dinner two hours before bedtime and try not to snack in between.
