Kym Sellers And All That Jazz…Ohio Black Expo (Videos)
Just Imagine 6 Hours of nothing but Jazz, and more than that, Jazz Legends. Sunday evening The Ohio Black Expo wrapped up their four day event with “All That Jazz Festival” at the Wolstein Center. On deck was David Benoit, Hiroshima, Najee, Alex Bugnon and the great Gerald Albright as (he also show cased his daughter Salina Albright). The Quiet Storm Host, our very own Kym Sellers was in attendance to concluded her concert heavy weekend. To everyone’s surprise with this many artist you would have thought they would give you a couple of songs and left the stage but NO they all put on full shows and the full house crowd loved it. First up was David Benoit who said “wow I feel like a rock star in here”. Then next on deck speaking of rock stars was Hiroshima, who is famous for taking their Japanese music and turning it into Smooth Jazz, the visual of this was just as amazing as the audio . Mr. Alex Bugnon came out and he had help from Clevelands own Robert Hubbard and Walter Barnes Jr of Hubbs Groove, Bugnon got so funky with his set that he threatend to play unitl 3 am his self :). Then the man, the myth the legend Najee came straight from back stage and into the audience where he did a serenade not for one person but probably 15, one of those included Ms. Kym Sellers. Najee also had some help from Clevelands very own Lem Adams. Last but certainly not least Mr. Gerald Albright did his thing like only Gerald could with an added bonus of his daughter Salina Albright as a vocalist, Gerald was so hot that Najee himself came out on stage to bring him a bottled water, towel and fan LOL, how about that for class. Words can’t describe how awesome an event this was but here is a lil somethin, somethin to give you an idea…ENJOY
