Earlier today, sales for Beyonce’s “4 Intimate Nights With Beyonce” concert series went on sale. And they were gone literally in a flash. According to her label Columbia’s press release, her first show, on August 14 at NYC’s Roseland Ballroom, sold out in 22 seconds!
With three nights left, the final shows went on sale every hour today until 4pm EST. And before 5p, all 4 dates were sold out.
The show itself is being hyped as an opportunity for Bey to perform her entire album, “4” before an intimate room of fans. Most of us will be praying for a DVD release…
In other Beyonce news, the charitable artist is lending her support to the East African food crisis by linking her social networking pages to a downloaded movie about the crisis. Great to see she continues to give back.
