In Hartford, Connecticut, a plane heading to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, was turned around because of smoke in one of the restrooms.

It was Chautauqua Flight 4736, operating as a Continental Express Flight.

The plane took off from Bradley International Airport at 9:36 a-m.

Several minutes later the pilot saw the smoke warning light in the restroom.

The pilot immediately turned around and landed without incident at Bradley.

There were 49 passengers and three crew aboard.

They were all evacuated safely and bussed to the terminal. Nobody was injured.

Continental is now working on reconnecting passengers.

Maintenance is inspecting the jet to see where the smoke was coming from.
