ONTARIO, Canada – After nearly a week of searching for a missing Richmond Heights businessman, the FBI said they found him safe Sunday night in Ontario, Canada.

Authorities said Patrick Borally left on his own free will.

The family thanked everyone for their support, love and loyalty in helping to find Pat.

“He’s safe, alive and well and that’s what matters,” said his family members.

Borally was taken to a hospital, and family members did not immediately know when he would return home. According to Borally’s brother-in-law Tim Lawless, a woman called Pat’s wife, Kathy, and informed her that Pat was safe and that he was going to a hospital.

A massive search effort went into effect after the 41-year-old was reported missing on Sept. 26. Close to 100 volunteers turned out to help look for the business owner on Saturday, searching areas including Chesterland and Mantua. The family had offered a $25,000 reward for information that led Borally’s safe return.
