BEREA, OH (WOIO) –

The public memorial service for 13-year-old Charlie Kho is now rescheduled for Friday, November 4th at 10 a-m.

The service was postponed last weekend, after an illness in the Kho family.

Friday’s mass will take place at St. Adalbert Church in Berea. Charlie was a 7th grader at The Academy of St. Adalbert.

The teen was walking on Cook Road in Olmsted Township on October 17th, when he was struck by a hit and run driver.

Cops have yet to name a suspect, but they are close. The pieces started coming together when a 79-year-old women brought in a car to a dealership to be repaired the day after the accident.

Dina the receptionist knew something was not quite right.

“We looked at it and I had someone else look at it and you can see there were things on the car that someone had been hit,” said Dina.

Even though cops were looking for an SUV, the 2008 Sable left pieces of a broken headlight at the scene.

Cops tell 19 Action News the elderly woman from the dealership is familiar with a person of interest in this case.

Both have already been questioned, although cops do not believe the senior citizen was driving the car.
