CLEVELAND – Cleveland police are investigating after a double shooting on the city’s near west side Friday afternoon.
Dispatchers confirmed officers are at the scene of a shooting in the area of West 44 th and Detroit Avenue.
Cleveland EMS told NewsChannel5 that one man is in critical condition after being shot near West 44 th and Lorain, and another was shot in the 4200 block of Lorain. The second man’s condition is not known.
EMS said the two shootings appear to be related because the calls came in at the same time.
