CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –

The Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an unidentified woman. 

Monday at approximately 10:46 a.m., Third District zone cars responded to 3400 block of Hamilton Avenue for a dead body.

Once on scene officers located the unresponsive victim, believed to be in her 30’s, partially buried in the snow with contusions and abrasions to her head and hands.

EMS was notified, responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead. The Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit was notified and investigating the incident.

The official cause of death will be determined by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office.
