COLUMBUS, OH (WOIO) –
Three Soldiers from the Ohio Army National Guard’s 37th Infantry Brigade Combat Team were killed in action and several others were critically wounded during an attack Wednesday, April 4, 2012, in Maimanah, the capital of the Faryab province in northern Afghanistan.
More information will be provided 24 hours after all the primary next of kin have been notified.
At about 10 p.m. tonight, an additional release will be distributed identifying details about the Soldiers involved in the incident.
