I’m Crushing On… former Alabama football star Trent Richardson!

He heard about Courtney Alvis who did not have a date for senior prom in Birmingham, Alabama. So he stepped up to the plate and asked her father’s permission.

17-year-old Courtney Alvis had undergone treatment for leukaemia and didn’t have a date for the event.

In fact, she didn’t even think she was going to go to Hueytown High School’s prom at Boutwell Auditorium, in Birmingham, Alabama, because she had put on weight through the treatment and wasn’t comfortable with her body.

Her uncle — who had some connections to the University of Alabama — got in contact with some of Richardson’s friends, who got the request to the Heisman Trophy finalist.

Richardson, who did not get the chance to attend his own senior prom, said he agreed because his mother is a cancer survivor.

“I did it out of my heart,” Richardson said. “I’m lucky to be here with Courtney.”

Courtney looked glamorous and in the end, she became the center of attention and was chosen to be prom queen.

Richardson’s mother was also suffering with cancer, so he understood some of what Courtney was going through.

The 20-year-old Richardson won the Doak Walker Award in his junior season, rushing for 1,679 yards and 21 touchdowns.

He is expected to be the first running back selected in the 2012 NFL Draft and could go as high as fourth overall to the Cleveland Browns.

Let’s just pray that Richardson keeps walking like the GREAT man he is and not like the NFL dude who has fathered 10 kids by 8 women CLICK for that hot mess.
