Accused murderer George Zimmerman apologized to Trayvon Martin’s parents and to America in his first TV interview Wednesday night.

He called the killing of the teen earlier this year a “tragic situation,” and “the most difficult thing I’ll ever go through in my life,” Zimmerman gave a detailed account of the confrontation to Fox News’ Sean Hannity, saying he was approached by a “confrontational” Martin outside his home, and he shot the teen during a struggle as Martin tried to suffocate him.

He allegedly told Zimmerman he was “going to die,” and made a move for Zimmerman’s handgun.

Zimmerman told Hannity that he routinely carried a gun, though not while he was at work.

“I feel it was all God’s plan,” said Zimmerman, who added that although he and his wife have no children, he loves his nephews “more than life.”

Zimmerman said to Martin’s parents, “I am sorry that they buried their child. I can’t imagine what it must feel like. And I pray for them daily.”

Martin’s family said in a statement to BMS that Zimmeramn clearly does not regret anything he did that night saying “We must worship a different God because there is no way that my God would have wanted Zimmerman to kill my teenage son,” said Travyon’s father, Tracy.

ZIMMERMAN wants to talk with the Martin family about what happened.

Mother Sybrina Fulton appeared on NBC this morning and said she was ‘absolutely not’ willing to meet with her son’s killer.

Watch this FOOL say it was all a part of GOD’s PLANS…. #seriously!
