CLEVELAND – A rally and vigil will be held Wednesday at Kossuth Park in Cleveland to honor the life of 3-year-old Emilliano Terry.

The Coalition for a Better Life/Peace in the Hood, Inc., along with the Task Force for Community Mobilization, Peacemakers Alliance Community Activists and friends, invite the public to join them for the event.

People can begin gathering at 5 p.m. and the vigil is set to begin at 5:30 p.m.

Kossuth Park is located on East 121st Street and Shaker Boulevard in Cleveland.

Emilliano was reported missing from the park by his mother on Sunday around 5 p.m. On Monday, a young boy’s body was found in a trash truck in Oakwood Village, wrapped in several garbage bags.

The boy’s mother, Camilia Terry, 20, has been arrested but not charged in connection to the case. Police have not confirmed if it is Emilliano’s body.

An autopsy was done Tuesday morning, but the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner didn’t have any results at this time.

“In order to establish positive ID on the decedent, DNA testing will be required. This could take a few days for final results,” the office noted in an email to the media.

Meanwhile, the co-owner of Chapel of Peace Funeral Home has offered to provide free funeral services for Emilliano. The funeral home is on Buckeye Road, in the same neighborhood where Emilliano lived.
