*The 90s rap duo Kris Kross will reunite and hit the stage for a concert celebrating the 20th anniversary of So So Def Recordings.

The show is scheduled for February 23 at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre and will also feature label-founder Jermaine Dupri, Da Brat and Bow Wow.

As teens, Kris Kross – in their backwards-worn jeans and baseball jerseys – had the entire world bouncing to their hip-hop smash, “Jump.” [Scroll down to listen.] Today, at 32, Daddy Mac and Mac Daddy (aka Chris Kelly and Chris Smith) will perform the hit single in what is billed as a one-time-only reunion.

The announcement came on Tuesday afternoon at Atlanta City Hall, where Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed joined a roster of So So Def all-stars on the stage, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports. [See photo above and watch coverage of the press conference here.] Reed was flanked by Dupri and Kris Kross as well as Jagged Edge, Da Brat, Dem Franchize Boyz, Bonecrusher, Xscape, Dondria and veteran music executive Michael Mauldin (pictured at the podium above).

Dupri explained that the reunion concert will be a “rare moment in music” when various past and present So So Def artists and music contributors will come together on one stage for one night only.
