CLEVELAND — City officials held a news conference Wednesday regarding the administrative review of the fatal Nov. 29 police pursuit.

Mayor Frank Jackson joined Safety Director Martin Flask, Police Chief Michael McGrath and Police Special Investigations Commander James Chura for the media presentation.

The nearly two-hour presentation went from the time the suspects car was first pulled over to where it pulled into the Heritage School parking lot in East Cleveland.

The review studied the situation regarding the officers and supervisors who had a role in the deadly pursuit. City officials say those facts were compared to the policies and procedures governing police pursuits.

Based on this review, it will be determined whether any disciplinary actions are warranted.
