#1 Calling us pet names
Calling him “baby,” “honey,” “sweetie,” or some other nickname that you think is cute can be pretty emasculating and embarrassing. Stick to some variation of his name, or something that all of his friends call him, just to be safe!
#2 Hitting him up on the phone too much
Getting texts and phone calls from someone all the time is a good way to get tired of them real fast, especially because a lot of people simply do not like talking on the phone. Also, you don’t want to appear too needy, so unless you’re far away, it might be good to stay away from the phone altogether!
#3 Swearing too much
Cursing every now and then is fine, but many guys think it’s horribly unattractive when a girl cusses too much. Most guys are attracted to girls with class and maturity, and swearing possesses neither of those qualities.
#4 Flirting with others too much
Guys generally don’t want to be with girls who are out to charm every guy in the room; just like girls, they want to feel special. Furthermore, you don’t want to make him think you’re too promiscuous; it should go without saying that a lot of guys are turned off by that.
#5 Having bad hygiene
Generally speaking, if you want to attract a guy, you should be well groomed. This means showering, washing your face, keeping your legs shaved, and whatever else you need to do. He wants to know you put time into yourself!
#6 Wearing too much makeup
We’re not going to tell you to go natural- everyone knows what works for them- but wearing too much can be hazardous to your love life. If it’s to cover skin problems, guys can usually tell, and you end up making things worse; if it’s because you think it makes you look fancier, all it’s doing is making you look like an alien.
#8 Acting like a princess
On occasion, guys like to feel like they’re your knight in shining armor, but it’s the 21st century: You need to learn to do things for yourself. If you act entitled to a man’s services, then your Prince Charming will probably just leave you to the fire-breathing dragon.
#9 Gossiping too much
Everyone gossips now and again, but remember that nobody likes a Chatty Cathy. If a guy knows you share every piece of juicy information you get, he won’t trust you, which could mean a game over before the game even gets started!
