FXX, the new sister networks to FX, has announced its first original series,” Chozen. The animated comedy from the creative team of “Eastbound & Boud,” centers on a gay white rapper who’s just gotten out of prison.

Grant Dekernion (Eastbound & Down), Bobby Moynihan (“Saturday Night Live”), Hannibal Buress (“Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell”), Michael Pena (“Gangster Squad”), Nick Swardson (“Parks and Recreation”), Danny McBride (“Eastbound & Down”), Kathryn Hahn (“Anchorman”), and Method Man (“The Sitter”) will lend their voices to “Chozen.”

Dekernion, the “Chozen’s” creator and executive producer, will also be writing and rapping the songs on the show. McBride, Jody Hill and David Gordon Green of Rough House Pictures (“Eastbound & Down”) are also executive producing along with Adam Reed and Matt Thompson of Floyd County Productions (“Archer”), which will animate the series.

“It’s great to be in business with Grant, Danny, Jody, David and Rough House and this is the perfect first series order for FXX,” said Nick Grad, the new president of original programming for FX Networks and FX Productions, said in a statement. “‘Chozen’ is an outrageous and ballsy comedy, but it’s also a very smart examination of the rap culture.”

FX series “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” and “The League” will also move over to FXX along with “Legit,” “Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell” and now “Chozen.”
