1. DO NOT be ambiguous about what we are to you.
If you only like us as a friend, refer to us as your friend. In front of us. There will be no confusion that we are on lockdown in the friend zone if you’re frequently calling us your buddy.
2. DO NOT ask us out after hooking up.
If what we’re doing is only hooking up, then let it be just that. Only reach out to us when you need a booty call. It makes us think you want more when you ask us on a date.
3. DO NOT pay for our meals.
It’s a really sweet gesture. But if you don’t fancy us in a romantic way at all, then let’s split the bill. Because after all, we’re just friends. Do you pay for all of your friends’ meals? No. Didn’t think so.
4. DO NOT ask us about the type of guys we like.
This will make us think you’re curious to know if you fit what we’re looking for in a man. Thus, making us think you actually are interested. But no. You’re not. Now you fooled us and you’re an accidental jerk.
5. DO NOT talk to us all the time.
Don’t call and/or text us every day. This makes it seem like you’re thinking about us all the time, which can be translated into something more.
