Radio personality and Howard Stern‘s partner-in-crime Robin Quivers just announced the reason she took some time off of the radio show was because she was battling cancer for the past year.
Quivers says she has been undergoing cancer treatment for the better part of a year. She has undergone chemotherapy and other cancer removal procedures. Her doctors say the chemotherapy and other procedures were a success because she is currently cancer free.
The news was revealed in a heartwarming segment on “The Howard Stern Show.” Stern told his Sirius XM satellite radio audience that he feared Quivers wouldn’t return to the show and that he didn’t think she would make it through chemotherapy alive. “I gotta be honest, I thought she was a goner.”
