This past weekend was Sweetest Day, how did you express your undying love to someone? Did you get him or her flowers, perfume, cologne? Or how bout Mr Bigs style “DInner and A Movie”, did you lay out rose petals and go “BAMM!” handing your sweetie a chocolate covered strawberry? Well if you said yes to any of these I’m gonna put it out there and say “BORING!!!” LOL.
Now the real grown and sexy, the ones that if you look up the “epitome of romance” in the dictionary their picture would be sitting right their, well let me tell you what they did (including Cleveland’s own hit song writer and composer to the stars as well as Men At Large Jason Champions lil brother.) Waaaayy back in May they went out and purchased an intimate dinner/show ticket for their baby. Not just any serenade would be good enough for their lover over a fine dinner and exquisite wine, only the soul touching croons of Mr. Stokley Williams and Mint Condition would complete their Sweetest Day. With two sold out shows in a very intimate setting Mint Condition took you back to “Pretty Brown Eyes” then rocked you right into “Believe In Us” including the must see famous drum solo by Stokley Williams. MC also took they time to humbly thank their old and new Mint Heads for making them successful independent artists as well as thank TVOne for doing an Unsung on them, which also is one of the highest rated episodes.
