*Kevin Hart and the NBA’s LeBron James will play siblings in the upcoming basketball comedy “Ballers,” from Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment.
Hart, all of 5’ 3”, plays a man overshadowed in every way by his 6’ 8” NBA superstar brother (James), but gets a chance to prove himself when he and some friends attend a weekend fantasy basketball camp in Miami. The standup comic will also pen the script along with his writing partners Joey Wells, Chris Spencer and Harry Ratchford. Imagine Entertainment’s Brian Grazer and Michael Rosenberg are producing.
According to Deadline.com, a director will be signed once Hart and his team turn in the script.
The plan is to start production next summer when James has time off.
