Vita is a professional, but there is more than meets the eye. In the past 10 years she has worked in Fortune 500 and non-profits. She began her career at Eaton Corporation and was promoted quickly into HR management supporting the CIO and VP levels the global, $13B diversified industrial. She left Corporate America temporarily to work at a local church, before returning to business in a more entrepreneurial sense, first as a freelance designer and owner of RedLife Creative Graphic Design (www.RedLifeCreative.com). What began as pro bono work grew into a means to help ministries and entrepreneurs create polished marketing materials to share with the public. She offers graphics design where needed but is currently an Executive Search Consultant with a premier search firm (Pin-Point Solutions / Westport International) which provides service to global Fortune 500’s across industries. In recent history, she was a lead recruiter working contracts to recruit staff for ramp-ups that brought thousands of jobs to the Cleveland area (GMAC Insurance, Caesars Entertainment).

On a personal note, Vita credits the Lord Jesus Christ with the success she’s experienced stating, “I haven’t done everything right. I’m just blessed and just grateful to God.” A licensed minister who enjoys ministering in teaching and song, she has given back in recent years outside of the traditional church setting, volunteering as a rape crisis advocate at Cleveland Rape Crisis Center and pro bono graphics for local ministries.

A supporter of education, Vita holds a masters in Positive Organizational Development from CWRU, dual bachelors degrees from Brown University and masters of theology from Ashland Theological Seminary (Ashland, OH). She was a standout basketball player who shattered the university scoring record within NCAA D-1 Ivy League (a success story out of the Cleveland Municipal School District and John Marshall H.S.).

Vita has two older sisters and 9 nieces and nephews and loves being a sister, daughter, auntie and friend. She began writing to share a memoir and faith story with her family, but to start 2014, Redding will publish her first book “Catching the Second Wind” a personal journey of faith, miracles and the healing power of love and forgiveness. She also is partnering to launch INCourage Magazine which focuses on presenting positive stories from the business world. “I love great stories of business done well AND people doing good….just showing that both can be done at the same time.”
