Edwina Agee was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Growing up, her parents owned their own small business in the Hough and Central areas. Their business helped many people in the neighborhood. Which is why she has a strong passion for helping others. Edwina graduated from University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business.

She now resides in Maple Heights and have been living there for twenty years. On her spare time she volunteer in her community on a number of projects to improve the lives of the residents. She’s involved and initiated the following services for the community;

1. Back to school events including school supplies

2. Yearly Picnic

3. Holiday giveaway’s (Easter Fest, Halloween celebration, and Turkey raffle)

4 .Monthly Line Dancing

Edwina started as a volunteer and moved into the following positions; County Central Committee for District 7, Executive County Commission Person, Member of Maple Heights Charter Commission 2011, Member and Vice President of Maple Heights Democratic Club, Captain of the Donnybrook Block Watch, and a board member of two Charters Schools in the City of Cleveland.

Starting January 1, 2014, she will take the seat as Councilwoman for district 7 in Maple Heights, Ohio. “A voice for the people”.
