- The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 7
- The Akron Zoo will be closed Monday and Tuesday. As long as weather conditions are favorable, the zoo will reopen Wednesday, January 8. Staff is at the zoo caring for the animals and several animals will be kept indoors during these two days.
- Cleveland’s Horseshoe Casino – Closed Monday

Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are closed until Wednesday due to extreme cold and wind

City of Shaker Heights has postponed Monday evening’s Organizational Council Meeting until next Monday, January 13, at 7 p.m. In addition, trash collection scheduled for Tuesday is canceled and all collections Tuesday through Friday are delayed by one day.
