SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) –
A ban on the use of handheld cell phones while driving is now on the books for Shaker Heights.
The ordinance went into effect today, March 26, 2014.
Up until May 25, 2014 officers will issue warnings during the 60-day grace period for those caught texting or talking on their handheld phone while driving.
