BEREA, Ohio – The Browns continued their second week of Organized Team Activities at Browns Headquarters in Berea.
Johnny Manziel took part in some 11 on 11 drills with the first team, but it was his off the field antics on Memorial Day weekend that the media wanted to talk about.
Manziel spoke with media for the first time since rookie mini-camp and fielded questions about his trip to Las Vegas and the now “famous photo” of him taken with Rob Gronkowski and a bunch of girls.
Manziel answered every question thrown at him and saw nothing wrong with spending his off days in the “Sin City.”
“I’m very surprised that it’s actually a story,” Manziel said. “For me, I’ve accomplished dreams of mine that I never thought I’d get to be in this position.”
Manziel said despite the hype of what he does off the field, it will not hinder his work on the field.
“I’ve been here every day working extremely hard coming in here trying to earn my place and for me to get a free weekend to spend some time with friends and family of mine and just have fun and just relax and get away from the grind a little bit and then come back when I’m supposed to and get back to work this week,” Manziel said.
