*Thomas Eric Duncan may currently be in the United States, but he will face justice when he returns to Liberia.

Duncan, who is infected with Ebola and brought the disease to the U.S., will be prosecuted for lying on his airport screening questionnaire, as stated by Liberian authorities on Thursday.

The form, which was obtained by the AP and confirmed by a government official, shows that Duncan answered “no” to questions about whether he cared for an Ebola patient or touched the body of someone who died in an area affected by Ebola. In light of West Africa being plagued by Ebola, the AP notes that passengers leaving Liberia are being screened for fever and are asked if they have had contact with anyone infected.

“He will be prosecuted” when he returns to Liberia, Binyah Kesselly, chairman of the board of directors of the Liberia Airport Authority, told reporters.

In addition, Kesselly said people like Duncan and Patrick Sawyer have brought a “stigma” upon Liberians living abroad. Sawyer, a Liberian-American, generated headlines after infecting people in Niger upon traveling there.
