CANTON, Ohio — The Pro Football Hall of Fame is planning to transform its current campus into a “Hall of Fame Village.”
According to a release from the hall of fame, at the center of the plan is the renovation of Pro Football Hall of Fame Field and the stadium adjacent to the hall. Work is expected to begin next fall.
The village itself could include a world-class hotel and conference center and a center of athletic performance and safety, along with retail, restaurants and youth football fields.
The project, in part, is meant to offer more entertainment opportunities for fan engagement.
