Kobe Bryant Wears “I Can’t Breathe” Shirt
Last night, Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers joined in solidarity with Derrick Rose and the Brooklyn nets by wearing the “I can’t breathe” T-shirts during warm-ups for the their game last night.
Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls
was the first NBA star to rock the final words of Eric Garner, the 43-year old man who was killed by police in Staten Island, NY. NFL star Reggie Bush followed suit and soon after other NBA and NFL players began wearing the final words of Garner on t-shirts.
We love the fact that NBA and NFL players are rocking these shirts in solidarity with protestors across the country. We only wished more of our favorite artists used their voices for more causes.
