It was a packed room inside the South Euclid United Church of Christ as dozens came to a round table discussion to discuss police.

Organizers wanted to make sure people knew their rights, but also their responsibility when dealing with officers.

 

“Most don’t understand the role of police and the duty of citizens,” said Eric Williams, councilman for the city of Shaker Heights. The panel included Williams, former Cleveland safety director James Barrett, Shakrya Diaz of the ACLU, and Lt. B.
