CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) – Cleveland Browns general manager Ray Farmer is facing a suspension if the NFL finds that Farmer sent text messages to the coaching staff during games.
Farmer is facing a suspension and the Browns could be fined and even lose draft picks.
ESPNCleveland reported on Wednesday that an unnamed source said Farmer texted coaches in the coaches’ box during games to complain about play calls and usage of players.
The NFL began their investigation for the alleged texting on Jan.6. The investigation may conclude as soon as this week.
