Sybrina Fulton, the mother of Trayvon Martin, will be the featured speaker at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21, at the downtown Cleveland Public Library.
Margaret Bernstein, WKYC director of advocacy and community initiatives, will interview Fulton during a candid conversation on stage in the Main Library, Louis Stokes Wing Auditorium, 325 Superior Ave.
It sparked a national uproar in 2012 when Fulton’s son, 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, died at the hands of neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman in Sanford, Fla. A jury acquitted Zimmerman in 2013.
