Kansas City Chiefs v Arizona Cardinals

CLEVELAND –’s Andy Baskin has confirmed the Cleveland Browns have expressed interest in signing Cleveland native Ted Ginn Jr.

Ginn, known most for his kick and punt return abilities, was released by the Arizona Cardinals on Monday.

The connections between Cleveland and Ginn are understandable.

His father, Ted Ginn Sr., was his head football coach at Glenville High School.

The Browns have an obvious need for a returner after finishing 28th in the league in punt return average.
