CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) –Cleveland has asked that the lawsuit filed by the family of Tanisha Anderson against the city be dismissed.
The suit says during Anderson’s arrest two CPD officers, Scott Aldridge and Bryan Myers, used excessive force and violated the civil rights of the 37-year-old.
Anderson, who had mental health issues, died last November while being restrained by police. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner ruled her death a homicide.
