AKRON, Ohio — Police say that, about 4 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to a stabbing in the 100 block of Lake Street.

The victim Ronnie D. Bucker, 61, of Lake Street, reported he was eating chips and salsa with his girlfriend, Phyllis D. Jefferson, 50, when they got into an argument over who was eating all of the salsa.

Jefferson then stabbed Buckner in the pelvis area with a pen, according to the report.

She then walked over to the television and was going to knock it on the floor. As he grabbed the television, she walked into the kitchen and grabbed a knife and proceeded to cut him in the stomach.
