CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cleveland police officers were out in force Thanksgiving morning.
But no arrests were made — just a few deliveries.
More than a dozen officers from the second district went house to house bringing holiday meals to shut-ins and others in their community.
Turkey and all the fixings were delivered to more than 50 families around the second district.
Officers say this is a way to help bridge the disconnect that occurs sometimes between police and city residents.
