LAKE COUNTY, Ohio — A portion of Interstate 90 west between Vrooman Road and state Route 44 in Leroy has reopened after a series of several accidents.
Heavy snow has caused traffic problems throughout Lake County today.
A temporary detour on State Route 2 westbound at the state Route 306 exit ramp was removed after a series of crashes in Mentor.
Meanwhile, at around 10 a.m., an SUV slid off Tyler Boulevard near Spinach Road and landed in a retention basin in Mentor.
Police say it was caused by slick, snowy conditions.
