CLEVELAND – Giovonni Wilson, 26, was shot in the leg and buttocks by his girlfriend after she saw him visiting with his wife and children, according to Cleveland police.
Police said the shooting occurred on Monday around 11:30 p.m. in the 10000 block of Elwell Avenue.
Officers responded to MetroHealth Medical Center at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday for a man shot. When they spoke with Wilson, he said he was outside of his home speaking with his wife who was dropping off their 5-year-old daughter with him for visitation. He told police he and his wife were separated.
