CLEVELAND, Ohio — Kevin Love has not been cleared to play in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.
The Cleveland Cavaliers said in a statement that Love will remain in the NBA’s concussion protocol.
His status for Game 4 “will be updated at the appropriate time.”
Love was injured in the first half of Sunday’s Game 2 when he was accidentally elbowed in the back of the head by Warriors forward Harrison Barnes.
Earlier in the day Wednesday, it was reported that Love took part in a portion of the Cavaliers’ shootaround.
