SANDUSKY, Ohio– Is the Mean Streak one of your favorite rides at Cedar Point? The park announced today that the colossal wooden roller coaster will close for good on Friday night, Sept. 16.
You can still ride the coaster daily through Sept. 5. Then, Cedar Point reopens for special hours during a bonus weekend: Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 10 & 11.
On Sept. 16, which is the opening night of Cedar Point’s 20th “HalloWeekends,” there will be one final public riding session from 6-7 p.m.
“Mean Streak has, and always will be a significant part of our roller coaster legacy at Cedar Point,” said Jason McClure, vice president and general manager for Cedar Point.
