WASHINGTON (WUSA9) – The Cleveland Browns’ quarterback Robert Griffin III and his wife of three years are headed for divorce court.
The former Washington Football Team QB and wife Rebecca Liddicoat were college sweethearts at Baylor and got married during his rookie season with Washington.
They have a daughter, Reese Ann born in May 2015.
Cleveland.com reports the two have been separated for months.
Sources tell the website it’s been a difficult time for Griffin, but that he’s working through it with family and friends.
