CLEVELAND – We aren’t trying to jump the gun, but we have to point it out.
The Cleveland Cavaliers open the 2016-17 NBA season Oct. 25 at Quicken Loans Arena with the New York Knicks.
Game 1 of the World Series will also be Oct. 25.
Though we don’t know who the American League representative will be, we do know the World Series will open in the America League team’s city.
In other words, there is an actual chance the Cavs’ home opener and the Indians playing Game 1 of the World Series could happen right across Gateway Plaza from one another.
